Loud Gas Leak Forces Evacuation

Authorities ordered an evacuation in Bessemer Township, Mich., after a 16" utility gas line ruptured, causing a leak that reportedly sounded like a jet engine, according to an account in the Chicago Tribune. There was no immediate word on what caused the break.
