Workers Hit Gas Line; Leak Causes Evacuation of Homes

Eight homes in Washington Township, Ohio, were evacuated as fire crews investigated a natural gas leak, according to a news report. Road construction crews pierced a gas line at the intersection and ran to a nearby fire department. Families were displaced for about two hours and about 30 homes remained without gas several hours later.
