Natural gas prices are creeping upwards, and there is some concern that gas users will soon be facing larger bills, according to a recent report by the Houston Chronicle.
The Chronicle reports that Citigroup recently issued a note to investors stating that manufacturers could feel the pain of a recent 20 percent increase in natural gas prices. The Chronicle quotes TheStreet.com about the course of natural gas pricing: "The sudden surge in commodity prices may signal an end to decade-low natural gas prices."
"Analysts are predicting a gradual rise in natural gas prices as excess inventories draw down," according to the Chronicle.
